Along with the Division of Cardiology, the Division of Cardiac Surgery and the Division of Anaesthesiology for Cardiovascular Surgery and Intensive Care Medicine, the Division of Paediatric Cardiology is part of the University Heart Center at the Medical University of Graz. Our division is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, heart arrhythmia and acquired heart diseases in childhood and adolescence. As the only tertiary center in southern Austria, our division provides interdisciplinary inpatient and outpatient care to adults with congenital heart defects.
Since our division is actively involved in research, our patients receive the best possible treatment and care according to the latest scientific findings. Our continuous research and teaching activities in pediatric cardiology serve as the basis for positive developments in our discipline and represent the entire range of university research and teaching.
